Socks and painting and WW2
11 Jun 2008
What do they have in common might be a good quizer. However the socks are referring to the fact that I am at the moment painting my socks off to get stuff finished for people. The major undertaking being a large 28mm world war 2 paintjob is now underway to its owner as I speak and should be on table at a show near you, well Bovington 5/6 July to be more precise. Hopefully Neil from Troop of Shewe will send me some pictures to put on the site shortly after that. Reading what he has in mind and knowing his previous work the demo should be quite an awe inspiring happening. Shame I cant visit the show.
The other sock destroying project are "some" Italians for Flames of War, well the millions of bajonets must be here in my painting room since I cant see anything else at the moment. In fact I was getting in such painting and Italian moods that I am eating pizza, pasta and drinking Italian wine at the same time as painting those mini's. So I dont want to hear from the guy they are going to that they are EVER going to run...

Commission progress
20 May 2008
In order to keep people informed on the progress of their commission I have decided to keep a logbook. This way they can instantly see what state of misery their future soldiers and equipment is in. You can see these entries at the paint-in link.

Blog what blog ?.... or how to update regularly
5 May 2008
Well looking one post down the obvious must be obvious. No update for far too long. Even with the new and handy blog thing I did not update the website as often as I should have. Well look at the paint-in page and you will see that altough not busy on the bits and bytes I have been busy painting, so thats the good news. Nothing fancy to post really at the moment other than above mentioned. I will be posting some more painted stuff in a short while ..........yes really short nothing like months or even a year but real soon. Promised.

All things British... well most anyway.
16 Jun 2007
Well this time I have en entirely British affair to be posted. First are some pictures from my 15mm Brits (Italian Front) which have been painted in my own Battleworn style. Hope to get some reactions about these. The other pictures are from the Fairfax Regiment part of a commission for Jos which are now all finished. Work on the second regiment John Hampden's is now underway as well as the painting of another commission which sees completion of hero, mg platoon, dismounted tank crew and 2 dismounted bike infantry platoons within the following week. To be fair the last mentioned figures are part of the Italians I am painting for the club. Also I have rebased (almost finished) a large part of my undead army. Now I will be able to use them for both Vis-Magica (for which they were based) and Warmaster, which has drawn my attention lately.

Battlefront 15mm Italians
8 Jun 2007
Well, to make sure the blog works fine including picture posting abilities I thought it rather nice to finally show some stuff. It was a long time coming and a lot of talk but no pictures of models. So to start of some Italians I am currently painting for Murphy's Heroes my not so local gaming club. I live in the east of holland and the club is based in the west so bad for gaming but not much alternatives in these here distant parts. Also included are 2 PAK 40's from Peter Pig and crewed by Peter Pig and Battlefront figures.

Paint-In
8 Jun 2007
In order to keep regular updates and compensating for my very bad website skills I have chosen for a blog format. Tell me if you like this set-up. Of course choosing this type of webpublication will make sure I update more often than in the past. If all goes according to plan the rest of the site will still be accessible.
